Template of the contract to lay up vessel

In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions imposed on trade and international transport, more and more shipowners are deciding to lay up vessels. In such a situation, the "LAYUPMAN" contract template may be very useful.

"LAYUPMAN" is intended primarily for ships that will be placed in cold lay up, with or without a minimum crew on board. 

The contract template provides for the deactivation process upon arrival at the place of departure, in which the ship's crew and management will be involved, as well as the reactivation process at the end of the withdrawal period. "LAYUPMAN" is modelled on the contract for the management of the ship "SHIPMAN" of 2009.
